           Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, #1)

Description

Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamour's.

Review
I know your not suppose to judge a book by its cover but hello, how can you not love this cover! It is so beautiful. Now on to the review. I was blown away by this book. I grew up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and this is a fresh new paranormal bag and tag.

I fell for Evie  from the start. As a girl who doesn’t know much about her past or were she came from, she does know she wants, a normal life. She is a teenager, and wants the clothes, school, and friends that go with that title. As the only Person in the world who can see through glamor, Evie has been working since she was eight years old. This is how she meets her love interest in the book, who just so happens to be a shapes shifter.

Paranormalcy for me was an amazing YA read. I am so excited that Supernaturally that’s coming out very soon. I can't wait to see what Evie has been up to since last we read her.
